Falk Richter's Electronic City is a fragmented love story set in the interchangeable airports, hotels and chain stores of globalised capitalism - Tom and Joy, two people trying to find each other inside the system.
The stage is stripped to black, and the world is drawn from light alone: naked white shafts raking through free-standing mirror frames, hard-edged specials isolating a single figure, and one cyan “WELCOME HOME” floating in the void. No set changes - only light redrawing the space.
